Load signs are a very important part of the warehouse.

Load signs are a very important part of the warehouse, so much so that they must always be moved if the shelving units are re-organised, so that they can always be seen and understood.

Safety load signs are essentially instructions relating to the safe load capacity of shelving, and as such should be posted in a conspicuous place on or near the storage equipment in such a way as to be easily identifiable, written in the national language and in a format that is durable.

Where necessary, as determined by the regulations, the instructions should also be displayed in such a way as to be comprehensible also for those with a limited knowledge of the national language.

The safe load capacity for storage equipment is based on good practice for placement and pickup of load units.
